Tradition Meets Technology: Elevating Malaysian Cuisine with A.I Innovation

The Program IPT Komuniti @TVET Tahfiz: Program Citarasa Masakan Malaysia was successfully conducted from 3–12 July 2025 at Kolej Komuniti Segamat (Bandar IOI) under the Program Pembelajaran Sepanjang Hayat (P.P.S.H). As a center dedicated to community development and lifelong learning, Kolej Komuniti Segamat plays an important role in bridging technical skills, cultural values, and industry-relevant knowledge for learners from diverse backgrounds.

This unique short course combined the richness of Malaysian culinary heritage with the power of Artificial Intelligence, equipping participants with essential A.I fundamentals and responsible usage practices. Through hands-on exposure to tools such as Gemini AI, ChatGPT, Leonardo AI, Kling AI, Suno AI, Canva, and Buffer, participants learned basic prompting for A.I-generated text and images, explored how multiple A.I systems work together, and applied A.I for trend analysis and market research in the food industry. The program further emphasized A.I-assisted marketing content creation and automated marketing strategies, empowering participants to promote Malaysian cuisine creatively and competitively in the modern digital landscape.
