From 22–24 August 2026, Kolej Komuniti Segamat, Bandar IOI hosted the Program Pengukuhan Bakat Komuniti 2026: Micro-Credential Stand Alone Asas Keusahawanan Canva, a short course designed to strengthen digital creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical AI skills.
As a community-focused higher education institution, Kolej Komuniti Segamat plays an important role in providing accessible, practical, and industry-relevant learning opportunities for the local community, helping participants develop useful skills for education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Throughout the programme, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, including responsible AI use and basic prompting techniques for text, images, video, audio, music, and dialogue. They also explored how different forms of AI can work together effectively in a creative workflow.
Using tools such as Canva, Gemini AI, ChatGPT, Leonardo AI, Kling AI, Pixverse AI, SUNO AI, and Gamma AI, participants learned to produce practical business materials including company logos, promotional posters, banners, stickers, and business profiles.
The course provided a hands-on introduction to how AI and Canva can be combined to turn ideas into engaging digital content—equipping participants with practical skills they can continue to apply in future creative and entrepreneurial projects.
